I’m looking at spending Spring Break next semester in the sunny lands of Costa Rica, to go ahead and fulfill my “International Education” requirements for the Honors College. This means I need to raise, earn, or apply for $1,400 before the time I go on the trip in March.

This is the cheapest, shortest, most cost-effective trip I could take, and also miraculously counts towards my Comm Major credit hours. This is too good to be true, so I feel like I need to take this opportunity while it’s still in front of me.

Problem is, I need to make a deposit of $500 ASAP so I get locked into a spot in the trip. There are only three spots left as of today, so I need to find $500 fast. I could call my mom for money, write the check myself, or start working the streets… (although that last one is the least preferable).

Obtain $500 by tomorrow, and $900 more by March 2012? Challenge accepted.
